Ahora, tiempo para hablar un poco sobre moda y eventos. Así que empezamos con nuestra fiesta de (no)boda del año pasado donde celebrábamos nuestros 18 años juntos, la mayoría de edad. Nunca habíamos pensado en hacer una boda tradicional, así que nos quedamos con la parte que más nos gustaba, la fiesta, sin ceremonia ni nada. Más específicamente una fiesta en un restaurante precioso en la playa. Así que necesitábamos ropa no tradicional y que fueran de acuerdo con el entorno.

Now time to talk a little bit about fashion and events. We begin with our (no)wedding party of the past year where we celebrated our 18 years together. We never thought about a traditional wedding, so we preferred to take only the part we like, the party, without the ceremony. More specifically, a party in a nice restaurant at the beach. Then, we also needed non-traditional clothes according to this environment.

ELLA / SHE

El Vestido. Esta fue la parte más difícil de todo, ya que nunca me había visto llevando un vestido tipo princesa. Así que comencé seleccionando algunos diseñadores que tienen vestidos modernos como Charo Ruiz, Luis Ferrer y Yolancris. Los dos primeros son diseñadores de moda Adlib por lo que sus vestidos son muy apropiados para las bodas ibicencas. Me probé varios vestidos de ambos y aunque eran muy bonitos, yo no quería una boda de tipo ibicenco ni que todo el mundo fuera de blanco, así que prefería algo más elegante y chic. También me probé varios de Yolancris y tengo que decir que eran espectaculares, elegantes, modernos y sexys. Sin embargo, con ellos puestos parecía una novia de verdad y no era ese mi propósito, quería algo más sencillo... Así que tenía un problema, hasta que buscando y buscando me encontré con varias fotos en facebook de una de mis diseñadoras favoritas, Matilde Cano. Ni siquiera sabía que tenían vestidos de novia, de hecho sólo los tenían en su tienda local de Córdoba. Pero eran justo el estilo boho chic que quería, así que me fui directa a Córdoba. Me probé varios modelos, pero el primero que había visto en esas fotos era el vestido que siempre había soñado, simple, elegante, cómodo y muy económico!! Además las chicas de la tienda son majísimas y me trataron genial! Me hicieron super feliz y les estoy muy pero que muy agradecida!! Este año Matilde Cano ya vende los vestidos de novia en otras de sus tiendas, así que os lo recomiendo encarecidamente, si buscáis algo diferente. 

The Dress. This was the most difficult task of all, since I never saw myself wearing a princess dress. Then, I begun selecting several designers who have modern dresses as Charo Ruiz, Luis Ferrer and Yolancris. The two first ones are Adlib fashion designers whose dresses are very adequate for a Ibiza-inspired wedding. I tried on several model of both designers and although they were very nice, I didn't want this kind of weeding where all people (even the groom) are dressing white clothes, so I preferred something more chic than rustic. Then, I tried on the ones of Yolancris and I must say they were spectacular, elegant, modern and sexys. However, I seemed a real bride and I didn't want this... so, I had a problem until that searching and searching I found some pictures in facebook of one of my favorite designers, Matilde Cano. I didn't know that they had bridal dresses, in fact, they only had it in their local shop in Cordoba. But that was the boho chic style I wanted, so I run to Cordoba. I tried on several models, but the first one was my dreamed dress, simple, elegant, comfortable and very affordable!!! Also the saleswomen there were very kind and careful with me! They made me the happiest woman on earth! Thanks a lot! This year Matilde Cano sells the bridal dresses in several of their shops, so I recommend it highly.

Los Complementos del Vestido. En Matilde Cano me probaron varios fajines, y cintas y coronas para el pelo, pero de nuevo quería las primeras que vi en esas fotos. Creo que las hojas en color oro viejo son el complemento perfecto para darle al vestido un toque romano o griego. Estos complementos son de Cherubina que tienen tocados preciosos. 

The Dress Complements. In Matilde Cano they showed me several sashes and headdresses, but again I liked the ones that I saw in the facebook pictures. I think the leafs in dark golden were the perfect complement to give to the dress a Roman or Greek style. They were made by Cherubina, who makes beautiful headgears. 

Los Zapatos. Otro punto difícil ya que quería que fueran cuñas pero no muy bastas, porque íbamos a estar en la playa, pero no soy muy alta, así que necesitaba tacones. Después de una larga búsqueda encontré lo que quería y en dorado también! Unas cuñas de corcho con tiras doradas y brillantes de la marca Bibi Lou. 

The Shoes. Another difficult point, I needed wedge sandals because we were going to be on the beach, but I'm not very tall, so I needed heels. After a long search I found just what I wanted and in golden also!! A cork wedges with golden and brilliant strips from Bibi Lou brand.

El Resto de Complementos. Tenía una cosa clara, quería un brazalete grande dorado con un estilo romano antiguo y lo encontré junto con un aniño de cristal marrón en una tienda de Malaga (Lolita). Pero para el resto prefería algo más fino y chic, así que compré el otro anillo, los pendientes y una pulserita pequeña de Swarovski para dar un tono de brillo y luz. Por último, tan solo para las fotos me puse algunas gafas de sol de diferentes marcas y modelos, Gucci, Ralph Lauren y Ray-Ban. 

The Others Complements. I had one thing very clear, I wanted a golden big bracelet also with old roman style. I found it together with a brown crystal ring in a local shop in Malaga (Lolita). But for the rest I preferred something more chic, therefore I bought the other ring, the earrings and a small brilliant bracelet from Swarovski. Additionally, just for the pictures I wore several sunglasses from different models and brands, Gucci, Ralph Lauren and Ray-Ban. 

             

ÉL / HE

Camisa y Pantalones. Quería unos pantalones oscuros (preferiblemente negros) y una camisa blanca, pero esto podía ser muy común y simple, así que necesitaba que fueran especiales y que quedaran genial. Así que la solución fue ir a una marca moderna a la par que elegante, Hugo Boss, y allí me lo compré todo (incluso la ropa interior). Los pantalones eran tipo vaqueros pero completamente negros y la camisa era de tipo slim fit. Parece una ropa muy sencilla, pero fue totalmente diferente a lo que me probé en otros sitios. 

The Shirt and Trousers. I wanted dark (preferably black) trousers and a white shirt, but this could be very common and simple, so I needed that they were special and fit me very well. And the solution for that was going to a modern and elegant brand, Hugo Boss, where I bought everything (even the underwear). The trousers were a kind of black jeans and the shirt was a slim fit one. But both were really different of other clothes that I tried on. 

Los Complementos. Me puse unos tirantes negros, que compré en Asos, para añadir un toque algo más chic a la ropa. Y además llevé una pulsera negra y plateada de Lotus, un aniño de plata envejecida de Fossil, un reloj con correa de neopreno negra de Hugo Boss y unas gafas de aviador de Ray-Ban. Además para algunas fotos cambié mis gafas por otras Ray-Ban de modelo Highstreet. 

The Complements. I put a pair of black braces, from Asos, to add a chic point to my clothes. Also, I wore a Lotus black and silver bracelet, a Fossil dark silver ring, a Hugo Boss black swatch and an aviator Ray-Ban sunglasses. Additionally, just for some pictures I changed my sunglasses for another Ray Ban of Highstreet style.

Los Zapatos. También bastante difíciles de encontrar, porque el verano pasado todos los zapatos bonitos y modernos que veía eran en azul o marrón. Finalmente, encontré lo que necesitaba, algo deportivo pero simulando lo clásico, de la marca Dark Collection, en negro y con una linea blanca en la suela y cordones blancos.

The Shoes. Also very difficult to find, because the past summer all the nice and modern shoes were blue or brown but not black. Finally, I founded what I needed, something sporty but pretending to classic, of Dark Collection brand, in black with a white strip and white shoelaces.
