Esta semana seguimos con un post sobre nuestro último viaje a Nueva York, y vamos a hablaros de lo mucho que nos gustó el hotel en el que nos quedamos, después de nuestra extensa búsqueda como os comentamos en un post anterior, el citizenM New York Times Square. Definitivamente, si buscas un hotel con buena relación calidad/pecio, moderno y con una localización inmejorable en NYC, este es tu hotel. Lo reservamos a través de una oferta de Booking, en la que nos salía la habitación doble por unos 220$ por noche (sumando impuestos 245$). Teniendo en cuenta que fuimos en verano (Junio/Julio) y no reservamos con demasiada antelación, es un precio más que razonable para un hotel de calidad situado justo en Broadway, a escasos metros de Times Square.

This week we continue with a post about our last travel to New York, and we will talk about how much we liked the hotel in which we stayed, after our exhaustive search, as we detailed in a previous post, the citizenM New York Times Square. Definitely, if you are searching for a hotel with good value for money, modern and with the best location in NYC, this is your hotel. We reserved it through an offer in Booking, paying 220$ per night for a double room (245$ with tax included). Taking in mind that we stayed in summer (June/July) and we didn't booked it with many anticipation, the price is very good for a high quality hotel placed in Broadway, only a few meters from Times Square. 

Los citizenM son un nuevo concepto de hotel de hoy en día, con todas las facilidades pero muy prácticos, no tienen lujos, pero está todo pensado para tu bienestar. Tú mismo haces el check-in, todo en la habitación se controla con una tablet, las camas son inmensas con colchones y almohadas muy buenos, hay WiFi gratis y el lobby tiene un aspecto de bar tranquilo, donde apetece pasar un rato sentado en uno de sus sofás. En el caso de éste de Times Square, a pesar de que las habitaciones no son grandes (y era lo que más duda nos causaba), tienen unas ventanas gigantescas que ocupan de pared a pared por lo que no son nada claustrofóbicas. Además, está diseñado para que en poco espacio quepa todo perfectamente con una buena sensación de espacio. Hay sitio para meter las maletas en dos cajones bajo la cama, una estantería con baldas y perchas para la ropa, una mesa con silla de estudio y un mueble con baldas para el tocador, que también lleva el lavabo y un espejo con un montón de luces (genial para pintarse!). Y el baño está integrado y separado por un cristal translucido que deja pasar las luces de colores que tiene la ducha, la cual es realmente cómoda y el agua salía estupendamente, con muy buena temperatura y presión. 

The citizenM hotels are a new concept of nowadays hotels, with all the facilities but very practical, without luxury but all thinking on your wellness. You make your own check-in, everything in the room is controlled with a tablet, the beds are giants with very good mattress and pillows, the WiFi is free and the lobby seems a quiet bar where you can rest in one of their sofas. In the case of this one inTimes Square, despite the rooms are not big (in principle we were worry about this), they have a big window wall-to-wall, so they are not claustrophobic. Furthermore, it is designed in the way you can place all your things easily with a good sense of enough space. There are enough space for your bags under the beds, stand and hanger for the clothes, a table with a chair to work, a vanity table with stands and the sink and a mirror with very good lights (this was great for the makeup!!). And also the bathroom is integrated in the room but separated with a translucent crystal where you can see the colorful lights that the shower has. This was also very confortable and the water was very good in temperature and pressure.

Por otro lado, la limpieza y la amabilidad del personal fueron inmejorables. Les comentamos que justo hacíamos un año de casados y nos dejaron una tarjetita escrita a mano donde nos felicitaban y nos invitaban a dos bebidas en el bar que tienen en la terraza superior con unas vistas muy chulas. La única pena es que sólo nos dio tiempo a disfrutarlas el último día justo antes de irnos, porque antes no tuvimos ni un minuto libre. También nos hubiera gustado disfrutar más del resto de servicios e instalaciones del hotel que estaban genial, como el gimnasio con vistas también, el bar, el lobby... Pero sin duda volveremos en nuestro siguiente viaje a Nueva York!!

On the other hand, the cleanness and the kindness of the people was amazing. We mentioned them during those days it was our first wedding anniversary and they welcome us with a handwritten card to congratulate and invite us to two drinks in the rooftop bar with nice views. We only had time to enjoy it the last day, because we didn't have free time before. Also, we would have liked to enjoy other services and installations of the hotel which looked great, such as the gym also with views, the bar, the lobby... But of course, we will come back to this hotel in our next trip to New York!!
